The Glory of Christmas

This will be a glorious Christmas Concert!! Resonate to the premier presentation of Mark Hayes brand-new three-movement "Gloria", written for chorale, solo quartet and orchestra. Regarding his latest work, the composer wrote "My hope is that you will experience the essence of the Divine... and when you hear the final Amen, your soul will know it has been touched deeply....."
And then enjoy a complete change of mood as the Chorale brings to Charlotte County for the first time the internationally famous "King's Brass". You'll hope it never ends. Hearing and also singing these nine fantastic musicians will top off this evenings experience of musical excellence.

There is nothing better than to hear greater show tunes like "South Pacific", or the inspirational "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" plus a medley of hits from favorite TV Shows like "Cheers," and a tribute to Stephen Foster. That is only the first half of the concert.
Joining the Chorale will be 60 of the finest singers from our three local high schools, accompanied by an honors instrumental ensemble. The featured work will be "Wicked", music from the prequel to the marvelous play "Wizard of Oz."
The concert will conclude with all voices singing "You'll Never Walk Alone."
Messiah

This Master work of Handel was composed and first performed in the Lenten Season of 1741, the Easter music alone was was written only nine days before Easter. A chamber orchestra will accompany this work and the 70-voice Chorale will be joined by other singers and soloists from the community for this one concert
